Power Awareness Is in Levels

Today’s Meditation:
Mark 14:36 AMPC

“And He was saying, Abba, [which means] Father, everything is possible for You. Take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You [will].”

Reflection:
In the days of Jesus on earth, He fully grasped the limitless power of His Father. Even as He prayed in Gethsemane before His crucifixion, Jesus knew that the Father had the power to thwart the enemy’s plans—plans that sought to make men favor a criminal over the innocent Savior. This moment reveals that our awareness of God’s power comes in levels, and it is essential for us to move from merely knowing about His power to actively engaging with it.

Consider the story of the synagogue ruler who approached Jesus on behalf of his only daughter. He believed that as soon as Jesus entered his home and prayed, divine intervention would restore her health. Jesus answered his sincere plea, demonstrating that prayer is a direct channel to the unbounded power of Christ. Yet, as Apostle James reminds us, if our prayers are half-hearted and wavering (James 1:7-8 TPT), we hinder ourselves from fully accessing that power. Jesus affirmed in Mark 11:24 that when we pray in faith, what we ask for is already done.

Encouragement:
Dear friends, remember that embracing the reality that Christ is the power of God is not a one-time event—it’s a journey of growing in power awareness. Start by recognizing the divine authority available to you and then let your faith deepen with every prayer. As you learn to pray with bold, unwavering confidence, you will see God’s miraculous power manifest in your life. Keep pushing forward, knowing that every sincere prayer connects you to a force that transcends all human limitations.

I invite you to stay tuned for the next edition, where we’ll continue to explore how to harness this divine power in every area of your life. Until then, keep your heart open and your spirit empowered.
