Elementary Understanding of God’s Power, Part 2
Today’s Meditation:
2 Kings 5:14 MSG
“So he did it. He went down and immersed himself in the Jordan seven times, following the orders of the Holy Man. His skin was healed; it was like the skin of a little baby. He was as good as new.”
Reflection:
In our previous reflection, we learned that, much like in the principles of physics where energy is released through work over time, God has established a divine process for His power to manifest in our lives. Consider the woman who, after suffering for twelve long years, acted in faith by discreetly touching the hem of Jesus’ garment. Similarly, Naaman—the commander of the Syrian army—followed God’s servant Elisha’s simple instruction, and by doing so, experienced complete healing. Both instances remind us that for God’s power to be released, we must actively put our faith into action.
Encouragement:
Do you long to see the transformative power of God in your own circumstances? Are you ready to plug into the inexhaustible source of strength flowing from Christ? Now is the time to step out in faith—apply what you know about Christ and His authority to your life. Even the adversary trembles at the knowledge of God’s might (James 2:19b). Exercise your faith daily, and allow God to work miracles in and through you.
Prayer Point:
Heavenly Father, ignite my faith and help me to act on the promises of Your Word. Empower me to trust in Your healing and restorative power so that I may experience renewal and transformation in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
