Today’s Meditation:
Psalms 33:6 TPT
“All he had to do was speak by his Spirit-Wind command, and God created the heavenlies. Filled with galaxies and stars, the vast cosmos he wonderfully made.”

Song for Reflection:

I Speak Spirit
Song by 1spirit & Theophilus Sunday ‧ 2022
I speak spirit
I don’t speak English
I speak life
I speak life
I speak spirit
I don’t speak English
I speak life
I speak life
He has made my tongue
The pen of a ready writer…

Reflection:
We continue our exploration of Christ as the power of God, particularly through the dimension of the spoken word. Just as God created the heavens, the earth, the galaxies, and all living creatures by the power of His spoken word, He originally transmitted this same creative capacity to Adam. Scripture tells us that “whatever Adam called every living creature, that was its name” (Genesis 2:19). However, through the fall of the first Adam, humanity lost its ability to function fully in this divine authority.

But praise be to God! The last Adam—Christ Jesus—came to restore our creative license so that we may once again speak with authority as God intended. The prophet Isaiah provides a glimpse into this mystery: through the new creation realities, our lips make contact with the live coal of God’s fire, our iniquity is purged, and we are empowered to declare God’s will on earth.

Encouragement:
Beloved, as redeemed children of God, we have been restored at the new birth to function as divine agents, speaking God’s word with power and authority. Our desire should be to align our words with His, speaking over our environment, health, family, property, and circumstances. When we do this in faith, we will see the same results as if Jesus Himself were speaking!

Look out for my next nugget, as I trust the Lord will grant us deeper insight into applying and unleashing this immense power in Christ Jesus through our spoken words.

Prayer Points:

  • Heavenly Father, thank You for the creative power that is already resident within my spirit.
  • Lord, help me to speak as You would, aligning my words with Your will.
  • As I declare Your word over my life, let it create a new atmosphere of victory, favor, and divine transformation.
