Trust and Confidence—A Key Factor

Spread the Message

Today’s Meditation: Psalms 65:5 TPT

“You answer our prayers with amazing wonders and with awe-inspiring displays of power. You are the righteous God who helps us like a father. Everyone everywhere looks to you, for you are the confidence of all the earth, even to the farthest islands of the sea.”

Reflection: God desires to see our unwavering trust and confidence in Him—this is essential for releasing the mighty power in Christ. As I sat at my study table today, I felt led to share a powerful song that perfectly captures this truth: Mighty Name of Jesus by The Belonging Co. One line declares, “I pray into the atmosphere / Spirit of God, You’re here / You have all authority.” I encourage you to listen to it online and let its message sink in.

Consider the story of Jairus. Despite the heart-wrenching news that his daughter had died, he maintained his trust and confidence as Jesus came to his home. In the face of overwhelming despair, Jesus reminded him not to yield to fear but to have faith—that she would live again. Even when circumstances worsened, Jairus’s unwavering belief in God’s power was the key to overcoming the crisis.

Today, I challenge you: Do not yield to fear—even when you see others around you experiencing success, whether in relationships, careers, finances, or opportunities. Remember that the power in the name of Jesus Christ is actively working in your life, manifesting amazing wonders and awe-inspiring displays of power. Trust in Him and watch your own “package” of blessings unfold.

Encouragement: Let this message inspire you to stand firm in your trust and confidence in God. As you continue to grow in your faith, may you experience His mighty power breaking through every barrier. I look forward to sharing more of my personal journey and insights on growing in faith in our next edition. Stay encouraged, keep the faith, and know that God’s power is at work within you!

Prayer Points:

  1. Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a spirit that overcomes fear and for filling me with Your power.
  2. Heavenly Father, I refuse to be seized by fear; I choose to trust in Your power to manifest in my life.
  3. Heavenly Father, help me experience amazing wonders and awe-inspiring displays of Christ’s power in every area of my life.
